In 2021, Greece celebrated the second centenary of the Greek Revolution of 1821. This volume collects new research on the history of the Revolution by researchers who were involved in the project ‘200 years after the Greek Revolution’ of the Hellenic Open University (2018–20), directed by Professors Vassilis Kardasis (2018–19) and Odysseas-Ioannis Zoras (2019–20). Professor Nikos Kotaridis was responsible for the academic supervision and coordination of the research.
The research project was generously funded by the Hellenic Open University, the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy, the Hellenic Petroleum, the Independent Power Transmission Operator in Greece, Alpha Bank and Eurobank.
