This book is the result of a workshop held at Utrecht University on 19 and 20 April 2018, on “Regime Interaction in Ocean Governance: Problems, theories and methods.” The workshop was organized by the team of the sustainableocean research project (ERC Starting Grant, grant agreement No 639070, 2015–2020).
The Sustainable Ocean team would like to first thank the participants to the workshop for the fruitful discussions and for agreeing to contribute to the present publication. We also thank the Editors of the series Publications on Ocean Development (Brill) for accepting to publish the results of the workshop.
The preparation of the workshop and the volume has required the work of several persons beyond the listed editors. A particular mention goes to Nina Mileva, first junior researcher of the sustainableocean project, who was the mind and arms behind the organization of the workshop. Nina also contributed to editing the first drafts of the chapters, together with Vivian Aiyedogbon. Last but not least, thank you to Işık Girgiç, current junior researcher within the project, for jumping in and excellently finalizing the preparation of the book.
