Daniele Brombal, Ph.D.
is an Associate Professor at the Department of Asian and North African Studies of Ca’ Foscari University Venice, where he teaches courses on China’s society, politics, and environmental governance and co-directs the master programme in environmental humanities. His research focuses on institutional change for sustainability in China and along the new Silk Roads.
Julius Buckler, PD Dr.
is a Postdoc and Lecturer at the University of Bayreuth (Germany). His research focuses, inter alia, on the economic aspects of EU Law, particularly in the regulated industries.
Federica Cittadino, Ph.D.
is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Comparative Federalism, Eurac Research, Bolzano, Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in International Studies, University of Trento. She is an expert of Environmental Law, with a particular focus on Biodiversity and Climate Change Law, environmental governance in multi-level systems, environmental participation, environmental litigation, and environmental justice.
Cristina Fraenkel-Haeberle, Prof. Dr.
is a Coordinator of the research programme European Administrative Space at the German Research Institute for Public Administration and Professor for Public Law at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer (Germany).
Giacomo Gattinara, Ph.D.
is a Member of the Legal Service of the European Commission and a former Legal Secretary at the Court of First Instance of the European Communities. He holds a Ph.D. in International Public and EU Law (La Sapienza, Rome), LL.M. in European Community Law (College of Europe, Bruges), LL.M. and MA in European Competition Law (King’s College, London), D.e.s.s. (Institut Universitaire International de Luxembourg et Université Robert Schuman de Strasbourg).

Eva Julia Lohse, Prof. Dr.
is a Full Professor of Public, European and Comparative Law at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, and Director of the Research Centre for the Law of Sustainable Development at Bayreuth. She holds a LL.M. in Comparative and EU Law (University of Kent, Canterbury) and is co-founder of SustaiNet.
Emma Mitrotta, Ph.D.
is an Environmental Law Consultant who collaborates with the Eurac Research Institute for Comparative Federalism on issues relating to the role of local actors in multi-level environmental governance. She holds a Ph.D. in International Studies (University of Trento) for her research on the involvement of local communities and sub-national entities in the protection and management of transboundary natural resources. Her research interests include the protection of biodiversity and its transboundary dimension, public participation in multi-level environmental governance, and local sustainable development.
Magnus Noll-Ehlers, Ph.D.
is a Member of the Legal Service of the European Commission. He works in the team in charge of the internal market for goods, energy and environment and holds a Ph.D. in EU Law (Goethe University Frankfurt).
Omondi R. Owino, Dr.
is a Expert on Environmental Law, Climate Change Law, Energy Law, and Natural Resources Law. He leads the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Law department at Acorn Law Advocates-LLP, Nairobi (Kenya) where he is a partner. He is a Senior Lecturer at JKUAT School of Law, Nairobi and, amongst others, reporter for the Sabin Centre for Climate Change Law. He holds a Dr. jur degree in international environmental law from Universität Bayreuth, Germany; an LLM degree from University of Dar es Salaam and an LLB degree from Moi University, Kenya. He is a visiting fellow of the Bayreuth University Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence in Germany.

Violeta S. Radovich, Prof. Dr.
is a Professor and Researcher at UNDEF (Universidad Nacional de la Defensa), Escuela de Guerra Naval. She is Assistant Researcher at CONICET (Argentine Council on Scientific and Technical Research) and UBA, School of Law, Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas y Sociales Ambrosio L. Gioja and holds a Ph.D. in Maritime Law and LL.M. in Environmental Law from UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires).
Michael Riegner, Prof. Dr.
is an Assistant professor of Public International Law and International Administrative Law at Erfurt University. He holds a Ph.D. in law (Humboldt University Berlin), an LL.M. (New York University) and studied law in Passau and Geneva. His published research covers International Institutional Law, human rights, Global Administrative Law, as well as Comparative Constitutional Law and development in the Global South.

is a Professor of Law and Chairholder of the Chair of Public Law at Georg August University Göttingen (Germany). Her main areas of interest include European, International and Comparative Administrative Law with a special focus on Environmental and Climate Change Law. She leads various research projects on Environmental and Climate Change Law as well as on public participation.
Paolo Turrini, Dr.
is an Associate Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, Italy. His main fields of expertise are International Economic Law (he co-edited a book on Investment Law in Latin America, published by Brill) and the Law of Natural Resources, especially Water Law.

Paola Villavicencio-Calzadilla, Ph.D.
is an Associate Research Fellow at the Tarragona Centre for Environmental Law Studies, Rovira i Virgili University, Spain, and Extraordinary Research Fellow at the Faculty of Law, North-West University, South Africa. Her main areas of interest include Climate Change Law and human rights, climate justice, climate litigation, SDGs and the ecocentric/rights of nature paradigm.
