She is also a Research Fellow in Business and Human Rights at the University of Pisa within the EU horizon project “Rebalancing Disruptive Business in Multinational Corporations and Global Value Chains within a Democratic and Inclusive Citizenship Process” (rebalance).

Andrea Bonomi

is a Professor of Comparative Law and Private International Law at the University of Lausanne and co-editor of the Yearbook of Private International Law. He holds a law degree from the University of Padua, a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Innsbruck, and a PhD in Private International Law from the University of Bologna.

Stéphane Brabant

is a Senior Partner at trinity International llp who specializes in mining law and business and human rights. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Business & Human Rights Project of the American Bar Association’s Center for Human Rights.

Boudewijn de Bruin

is a Professor at the University of Groningen and at the University of Gothenburg. His current work is on ethical and legal aspects of business, sustainability, and climate change. Recent publications include The Business of Liberty: Freedom and Information in Ethics, Politics, and Law (Oxford University Press, 2022).

Nicolas Bueno

Maria Izabel Cardozo

LL.M. (University of Lausanne), LL.M. (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro), is an international corporate lawyer who developed her career in Brazil, Switzerland and Italy, having worked as Visiting Researcher at the University of Pavia. She advises on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), dispute resolution and business and human rights matters.

Shaheeza Lalani

is the Executive Director of the ll.m. Programme at the University of Lausanne. She holds degrees from Queen’s University, the London School of Economics, McGill University and the University of Lausanne, where she won the Faculty Prize for her doctoral thesis.

Fabian Lütz

is a Researcher and PhD Candidate at the University of Lausanne, and a Legal Officer at Equinet working on the project “Equality-proofing ai systems: Equality by Design, Deliberation and Oversight”. He worked as Legal Officer in the European Commission (Gender Equality Unit) between 2015 and 2020. He holds degrees from France (licence and maîtrise en droit), Germany (First and Second State Exam in Law) and Belgium (ll.m. European Law and Economic Analysis, College of Europe, Bruges, 2011).

Bernhard Maier

is a Partner at Signature Litigation, London, and a visiting professor of Cyberlaw at King’s College London. He is also a member of the UK Attorney General’s C Panel of Public International Law Counsel to the Crown.

is an international lawyer and accredited mediator who specializes in international and comparative law. He is the Director of Litigation at ppo Abogados, Bolivia.

Puspa Pokharel

is a PhD candidate at the University of Hong Kong and is a human rights lawyer from Nepal. She holds an ll.m. in International Human Rights from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.

Maria José Schmidt-Kessen

is an Assistant Professor of Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the Legal Studies Department of the Central European University (ceu). She received her PhD from the European University Institute.

Alice Bryk Silveira

is a PhD candidate at the University of Neuchâtel. She holds a Law Degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, and a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law from Tel Aviv University.

Morgane Ventura

is a public officer at the Swiss Ministry of Justice, as well as a lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel. She studied law at the University of Lausanne, and at the University of London (ll.m.). She received her doctorate from the University of Geneva.
