International scholarly publisher Brill and China Educational Publications Import & Export Corporation Ltd. (CEPIEC) announced their agreement at the Frankfurt Book Fair to make Brill e-books available on CEPIEC’s newly launched Iresearch online platform.

Brill, the international scholarly publisher, has acquired the full publication program of Deo Publishing (Blandford Forum, UK) with immediate effect.
Last month Brill and Deo Publishing reached an agreement to transfer all assets of Deo Publishing to Brill. With this Brill acquires several important book series in Religious Studies, with some 50 available titles and a healthy pipeline.

Brill publishers has launched three new titles in its successful suite of review journals, Brill Research Perspectives, on the subject of Religious Studies. The first issues are planned for 2019 and will become available online and in print.

International publishing house Brill has launched a new journal: Diplomatica: A Journal of Diplomacy and Society. The journal is published in cooperation with the New Diplomatic History (NDH) Network. Diplomatica addresses the broad range of work being done across the Social Sciences and the Humanities that takes diplomacy as its focus of investigation.

An international consortium of research institutes, universities and non-academic partners in six European countries has been awarded with a research grant from the Department for Research and Innovation of the European Commission in June 2018. Mediating Islam Digital Age (MIDA) is coordinated by the ‘Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique’ (CNRS) in Paris. The consortium includes twelve beneficiaries and thirteen partner organisations, Brill being one of them.

Brill and the Society for the History of Emotions have agreed that the journal Emotions: History, Culture, Society (EHCS) will from now on be published with Brill. Edited by Katie Barclay (Adelaide) and Andrew Lynch (Western Australia), EHCS is dedicated to understanding the emotions as culturally and temporally situated phenomena, and to exploring the role of emotion in shaping human experience and action by individuals, groups, societies and cultures.
