Trading update Q3 2019 (published today after stock market close 5.45 PM), Brill reports continuation of favorable developments

Q3 revenues were satisfactory, allowing Brill to maintain its lead over last year. Growth is primarily driven by improved eBook sales in the Americas and Europe and supported by journal sales. Print book revenues were impacted by logistical delays at our UK based global print distributor but were nonetheless stable versus last year, reflecting favorable underlying sales trends.

Brill's Journal of Jesuit Studies in Open Access through Crowdfunding


Brill, the international scholarly publisher, is proud to enter into a partnership with six sponsors to continue publishing the Journal of Jesuit Studies in Open Access. Brill Releases Key Titles on the Impact of the Roman Empire in Open Access


In collaboration with Professor Olivier Hekster and the Radboud University Nijmegen, Brill has released 14 volumes in the book series Impact of Empire in Open Access. Together, these titles form the complete collection of proceedings from the annual workshops by the International Network Impact of Empire. The workshops draw top contributions from various disciplines on topics that are still relevant today, such as migration, religion, cultural identity, and justice, focusing on the consequences of the actions and sheer existence of the Roman Empire in the regions it dominated.
