As a digitally oriented academic publisher, we use the wide range of digital marketing options to promote your title in the best possible way. This includes our website, newsletters, and mailings to various target groups, as well as our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter. Printed advertising materials also remain an important tool, however, especially with booksellers and scientific institutions.

Website

The presentation on our website is the digital business card of your title. We provide a lot of space for your book: In addition to the cover, blurb, and bibliographic information, we also provide information about you as the author, a reading sample, the table of contents, and our promotional flyer for download. You can use this flyer for your own promotional activities, for example in the context of a book presentation. On our Blog we offer you the opportunity to present your book in an interview and to raise interest in your field and your research.

Newsletter

Our Newsletters regularly reach a broad network of customers and multipliers. It provides information on our new publications, events and other news from our company, differentiated by subject area. We send out monthly newsletters to our subscribers as well as topic-specific mailings on individual subject areas or conferences. These newsletters, which are aimed at individual target groups, are often supplemented with a digital theme page where we display relevant titles.

Social Media

In today's digital world, communication and networking take place to a significant extent on social media. You can find us on Facebook and Twitter, where we maintain a vital exchange with our authors, readers, relevant media and other multipliers. Through our social media, we provide information about new publications and upcoming events, and disseminate reviews of our books or news from the professional world. We are also happy to share your own posts and thus help you reach even more people. Of course, you also have the option of sharing our titles via social media with just one click on our website. Catalogs/Brochures

Twice a year we publish our Highlights Catalog (jointly with the imprints Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, Böhlau and V&R unipress), which is sent as a print product to our trade partners and institutes. This is where we announce titles for a broader audience, new series, but also online products such as Major Reference Works an.
At the same time, we publish our subject previews for the individual subject areas, which are also sent to institutes in printed form. These contain all titles of the respective subject area announced for spring or fall.
Of course, you can also find the catalogs on our website. A newsletter informs our readers about the publication of the catalogs, which can then be accessed online. In addition, we produce target group-specific brochures and flyers for larger conferences, so that your titles are also promoted in the scientific community.

Press/Reviews

We have comprehensive contacts to relevant specialist media, magazines and feuilletons, who are informed regularly about new publications and who follow our program closely. We provide printed or electronic review copies free of charge. Our press newsletter is sent regularly to all contacts in the various departments. We are also happy to take your suggestions into account and invite relevant reviewers to a review as soon as your book is published.
