Participation in Open Access Initiatives

Knowledge Unlatched

Knowledge Unlatched brings academic libraries and publishers together to create a sustainable route for Open Access books and journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The initiative has so far unlatched more than 1450 book titles and 19 journals. Brill has been participating in the award-winning scheme since it first launched in 2014. It is part of our author funding support program.

We help to ensure a diverse, vibrant, and healthy open access market that supports a wide variety of innovative solutions and business models."
