Does Turpin Distribution handle both print and electronic products?
Turpin handles journal subscriptions and print book orders for Brill worldwide. For queries about online resources, contact Brill’s sales team at sales-us@brill.com (customers in the Americas) or sales-nl@brill.com (customers outside the Americas).

How long will it take for my order to be dispatched once the order is received?
Book orders of available titles will be shipped within 8 working days.

Who is responsible for content activation issues?
All sales of online resources will continue to be handled by Brill’s sales team (sales-us@brill.com for customers in the Americas, and sales-nl@brill.com for customers outside the Americas). Any electronic access queries may be sent to brillonline@brill.com.

How can I request promotional material?
All printed marketing materials can be ordered at marketing@brill.com. You may also download promotional material at brill.com/downloads.

I am not currently set up as an EDI trading partner, but I am interested in becoming one. Who should I contact?

What shipping options do I have?
All standard shipping options are available. Please contact Turpin Distribution to discuss your specific shipping needs.

Can you provide me with information on shipping costs?
Shipping costs will remain similar for a majority of orders. To discuss specific shipping options and costs for your order, please contact Turpin Distribution.

What payment options will be available?
Payments are accepted via credit card, electronic fund transfer (EFT), or check. For queries concerning your payment options, please contact the appropriate distributor based on your location.

Which credit cards are accepted?
The following credit cards are accepted: VISA, American Express, Euro card/MasterCard.

If paying for print books by check, where should checks be sent?

Where can I send returns, and what is the return policy?
All returns should be sent to:

Book returns will be accepted in re-saleable condition. Stickered books are not considered saleable. Authorization to return is not required if returned within 12 months of purchase. We request from our account holders that prior notification be given to BRILL for bulk returns. Full credit will be issued when original invoice number and date are provided. Otherwise credit will be issued at the lowest applicable discount off the original list price. Shortages and damaged goods should be reported within ten (10) days. For claims against titles which have already been invoiced, please always mention:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Customer number

Claims are to be made within three months after the invoice date.
