Forthcoming Series: Brill Research Perspectives in Critical Cultural Curriculum Studies
Series Editor: William M. Reynolds, Georgia Southern University
Schools and sitcoms, fast food and faculty, science fiction and science curriculum, math and movies, accountability and AC/DC, bricolage and biology. French and fusion cuisine, vampires and verbs, law and Lord of the Rings. Hick-Hop, Hip-Hop and curriculum. There can be no doubt that what can enable multiplicity in critical cultural curriculum studies is that philosophy, cinema, art, science and curriculum studies all share in the activity of creation.
Providing a space for surveys of the field in cultural curriculum studies to researchers and students that are new to the field, Brill Research Perspectives in Critical Cultural Curriculum Studies engages with scholars in both disciplines. Cultural curriculum studies engage in work that dwells in multiplicity. Cultural studies and curriculum studies collaborate and inspire one another.
The Brill Research Perspectives family of publications comprises numerous book series across multiple subject areas that publish 2-6 manuscripts annually. Each volume consists of one uniquely focused single or multi-author manuscript of 75-150 pages. To facilitate the efforts of researchers and educators alike, each volume will also be available as a book in both print and electronic format. Taken together, Brill Research Perspectives will constitute a multidisciplinary reference library devoted to key research areas. The theoretical and critical connections of culture and curriculum are emphasized to give an accurate reflection of the current scope of the field in these reference tools for researchers that are new to the field, graduate students and educators.
Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts by e-mail to Acquisitions Editor Evelien van der Veer or Series Editor William M. Reynolds. For more information about Brill Research Perspectives visit the BRP page.
