Forthcoming Series: Short Introductions to Korean Studies
Series Editor: Vladimir Tikhonov (President of AKSE), University of Oslo, Norway
With everything Korean, from K-pop to radical feminism or North Korean military capacities, attracting keen attention from media and public in the recent years, this series aims at providing succinct, research-based, high-quality and comprehensive introductions to all things Korean, pre-modern, modern and contemporary. Written by scholars and educators from inside and outside Europe, these introductions are to provide popularly presented and academically quality-checked information on Korean society, politics, culture, history and thought. These introductions will prove their usefulness in the undergraduate classroom, while concurrently serving as a reliable source of Korea knowledge for media and all the interested members of public in the wider community.
All volumes in this series will be published in Open Access with financial support from the Association for Korean Studies in Europe (AKSE).
Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals for manuscripts to the publisher at BRILL, Paola La Battaglia and Iulia Ivana. Please advise our Guidelines for a Book Proposal.
