In the field of literary studies, the focus is on literary theory and biopoetics. The main book series are “Explicatio” and “Poetogenesis”. The company publishes around 40 new titles per year.
In the latest edition of "Sein und Streit" on Deutschlandfunk Kultur, author Andreas Speer explains why we should say goodbye to the term "Middle Ages". His book 1000 Jahre Philosophie was published in March by Brill | mentis.
This year, SOPhiA will take place at the University of Salzburg from September 6 to 8. There will be no thematic focus, instead the presentations will be characterized by a methodological restriction to the tradition of Analytic Philosophy through clear language and comprehensible arguments. We look forward to an exchange with you on site at our book table!
The new series Philosophia | Digitalis, edited by Gabriele Gramelsberger and Jörg Noller, will be launched by Brill | mentis in spring 2024.
