The typhlocybine leafhoppers of Rwenzori National Park, a famous game area of Uganda were partly described by Einyu & Ahmed (1979 a, b, c). The present description consists of six new species of Erythroneurini from the same area. These are Molopopterus ishashaensis, fmbecilla rhyncosiae, Accacidia kenyii, Accacidia chamburasca, Helionidia indigoferae and Lamtoana hoslundiae.
Studies have been made on the erythroneurine genera and species from the wild life reserve area of Uganda, known as Rwenzori National Park. The description includes seven new species under three genera i.e. Gamhialoa edromai. G. lutfyi. G. hihisci. Lublinia acaciae, L. katookyensis, Empoascanara katungurica, and E. uguncluna.
The empoascan leafhoppers affecting fruit and vegetable plants have been studied from various parts of Pakistan. Apart from recording three species Velu caricae Ghauri, Empoasca punjabensis Pruthi, and Amrasca devastans (Distant), seventeen new species have been described in the present account. The new species are Empoanara ghulami, Empoasca cicerae, Empoasca planata, Empoasca syedi, Empoasca karachiensis, Empoasca bostanensis, Empoasca apodema, Empoasca mardanensis, Empoasca capsicae, Empoasca khaliquei, Austroasca tuberosa, Austroasca jamkandensis, Austroasca viniferae, and Amrasca elongata.
