Abstract

This chapter focuses on the scope of collaboration between members of the academic community resulting from the regulations contained in the quality assurance systems. This collaboration is manifested, among others, in joint implementation of tasks resulting from quality processes in the educational setting. The main aim of this chapter is to show the academic community collaboration in joint implementing the tasks within the quality assurance systems on the example of 21-degree programmes implemented at Polish higher education institutions. To reach the aim, content analysis was applied. The perspective of the Polish Accreditation Committee was adopted. It’s reports on the evaluation of degree programmes were analyzed. The results show that academic teachers and students cooperate in all areas of the quality assurance systems. Most often this is the case with reviewing and revising programmes and developing and implementing quality assurance policy.
