Abstract
The scholarly nature of this work assessed the implications of the adopted digital technology through diffusion innovation theory on the improvement of small and medium farmers. Through a cross-sectional research design and survey method, information was gathered from the sample of 293. Structural equation modeling by the software of amos version 21 indicated that only observation, can improve the performance of small and medium farmers in Tanzania. This is due to the complexity of the innovative technology among this group of farmers, which is associated with a lack of testing, which subsequently leads to incompatible systems. As technological adoption in various sectors of Tanzania has now become inevitable in all sectors, with no exception to the agricultural sector, more efforts by all stakeholders who are alarmed with this sector should not be relaxed. Policymakers and decision-makers have to understand various mechanisms that help small and medium farmers understand technological characteristics.
Abstract
Though the benefits of mobile adoption in banking institutions are extensively recognized, there is a low pace of its adoption among customers. The establishment of behavioral factors that can motivate banking customers to adopt mobile banking has been a concern. Provided that no single framework can fit all sizes, this study builds on past research to invest in behavioral factors among customers toward MB adoption. Through a cross-sectional survey design, 325 questionnaires were distributed among university students in Tanzania to assess customer behavior that can motivate MB adoption. Using structural equation modeling (AMOS 21), the study found that when customers possess judgmental heuristic knowledge that allows them to understand how risks associated with the adoption of MB can be resolved, they are motivated to adopt the innovation. The study recommends the importance of providing knowledge to their customers through various mechanisms and the benefits associated with mobile banking adoption.
Abstract
This study examines the influence of e-services on students’ satisfaction in higher learning institutions. Although many studies have investigated e-services in education systems, many of them do not associate satisfactory e-services application in administrative activities in ensuring students’ satisfaction. The surveyed data collected from 257 university students was analyzed by the structural equation method (SEM). The study found students are satisfied with e-service provision when the systems are simple to use, reliable, efficient, secured, time-saving, and reduce costs in the process of registration, payment of tuition fees, and accessing online library services.
