Chapter 6 Hosea 6.1 The Time of Hosea According to the heading of the book, Hosea worked during the reigns of the Judaean kings Uzziah (787-736), Jotham (756-741), Ahaz (741-725) and Hezekiah (725-697) as well as the Israelite king Jeroboam II (787-747). 1 That situates the prophet in
