World Economics and Politics (世界经济与政治)
Launched by the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, in 1979, WEP is a journal that focuses on theories of international relations study. It adheres to the principle of combining studies of international politics and world economy. It also seeks to combine theory and practice and balance studies of domestic and international issues. Management World (管理世界)
is supervised by Development Research Center of The State Council, and sponsored by Development Research Center of The State Council. International Economic Review (国际经济评论)
Launched by the Institute of World Economics and Politics, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, in 1996, IER is a policy review journal that focuses on international relations, economy and politics and Chinese macroeconomics. It is highly reputed in China’s academic, political and industrial circles for its thoughtfulness, policy reference and academic standards.
China Industrial Economics (中国工业经济)
Launched by the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1984, CIE is a comprehensive applied economics journal of national level that focuses on significant frontier theory and practical issues. The journal mainly publishes research papers covering national economy, industrial economy, regional economy and business economy. It won the third National Journal Awards, the first prize in the second, third and fourth Outstanding Journal Awards of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences successively. The Journal of International Studies (国际政治研究)
is a bimonthly academic journal sponsored by Peking University and published by the School of International Studies of Peking University and the Pan-Chinese Universities Association of International Politics Studies. As a leading journal in international studies in China, it is open to contributions by Chinese and foreign scholars and invites submission of academic articles on international relations theories, international security, international political economy, area studies as well as Chinese politics and foreign policy.
Quarterly Journal of International Politics (国际政治科学)
Launched by the institute of international relations of Tsinghua University in 2005, QJIP is a journal that focuses on the empirical method and theoretical analysis of international relations study. It seeks to improve scholars’ academic level by stressing the importance of research question, hypothesis and innovation. The journal mainly published empirical research papers to promote the innovation and rigorous argumentation of international relations study.
Contemporary International Relations (现代国际关系)
First published in 1981, CIR is an academic journal run by China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations. CIR focuses on the analyses of current development of international relations, covering areas of China’s foreign policy, major power relations, geopolitical situation, international economy and domestic political development of countries around the world. CIR is included in CSSCI and has been regarded as a top journal in international studies in China for many years.
Social Sciences in China (SSIC) (中国社会科学)
is a peer-reviewed quarterly founded in 1980 by the Social Sciences in China Press (SSCP). It is the first social science journal in English published in the Chinese mainland, and is committed to China-related studies. Its articles are translated from the Journal of Social Sciences in China (Chinese edition) or solicited for special issues.
